"Using is Desired“

By means of a cross-border finishing process of metallized textiles I created a new textile surface. Metallizing in print and working with a new system of metal-textile composites allow to form the design with oxidative processes of ageing metal surfaces. With the stylistic device of life patina I achieve a convertibility of the surface that can span a long period of time. Thus we create a textile product that allows sensible communication between designer and user. Jade green patinas and varios tarnish shades of a "bleeding character" are not achievable by any other finishing process in the textile industry.
