"Golden Times"

"Golden Times" is a mobile game, that can be played with city-specific location geo-references and that deals with the subject of "German Classicism in Weimar". It is aimed at pupils who visit the city on school trips. The game is based on PDAs and smartphones and wants to intertwine instructive content and playful entertainment though the use of multimedia. On ancient sites, learners should not only encounter abstract historical characters and locations, but immerse themselves into the fabric of history by accomplishing a mission.
