Biography

Born in Dinslaken in 1961, A-levels, community service, 1983 training as an industrial photographer, studied communication design at Essen University, moved lo Leipzig in 1989, studied photography at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig, diploma 1991, master student 1993, since 1993 freelance photographer, started authors association »mambo« in Berlin 1994, since 1996 member of OSTKREUZ - Agency of Photographers Berlin, 2000 co-founder of the organisation »Fotografie am Schiffbauerdamm- School and Gallery«, lives in Lehnitz near Berlin, solo and group shows in Leipzig, Havanna, Mexico-City and Monterrey/Mexico, Berlin, Bremen, Rome, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Bradford, Newcastle, London, Paris
